We went for the omakase to make our mini vacation to Vancouver extra special, and it was definitely worth it! Yuji, the chef owner is very friendly and entertaining and his dishes were delicious and presented beautifully.
This place is so cute inside and all the rolls we tried were good. We also had tuna sashimi and agedashi tofu which were both very good.
Impressive selection of incredibly fresh and tasty sashimi. The variety was excellent, and each piece spoke to the quality of the fish. The uni sushi was a particular highlight. Beyond the exceptional food, the friendly chef created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For the quality and freshness offered, Yuji's provides great value for money. It's clear they take pride in sourcing excellent fish, making it a must-visit for sashimi lovers.
Fantastic food. This place has some cuts of fish that you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the city. This is not a place to come if you just wanna fill up on California rolls. Quality over quantity for sure. Also the staff is fantastic.
Wow, truly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Such a great intimate restaurant with so much care put into every element. I also love that they have a menu with special and seasonal options. Highly highly recommend if you are a sushi fan. Will come back every time I’m back in van :D
Amazing dinner experience! Yuji is actually a Japanese chef so there’s nothing more authentic than that. I was expecting typical west coast sushi but what we got was a variety of real Japanese cuisine. The flavours were incredible and paired nicely with a cold sake. Sooo good. Highly recommend. Thanks to Satoko for introducing Yuji to us!
Authentic and quality Japanese restaurant, I had a assortment of nigiri sushi, made in front of me by the chef. Taste so good, I definitely recommend. The homemade green tea Panna cotta was delicious too. People might feel that the prices are a little high, but quality ingredients and skilfully chef comes with a price.
We had a great dinner at Yuji's. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. There was so much selection, everything looked so appealing, and every morsel was delicious. I'm looking forward to my next meal there.
